Professor Shane Cybart is the Program Chair for the 17th International Superconductive Electronics Conference, ISEC 2019 that will be held July 28 – August 1, 2019 at the Riverside, California Convention Center. ISEC, first held in 1987 in Tokyo, Japan, is the leading biennial meeting focusing on superconductive electronics. Professor Cybart created a technical program focusing on the latest innovations, trends, and ideas in superconductive electronics. UCR also organized a two-day Summer School on the fundamentals of superconductive electronics immediately preceding ISEC. ECE Professor Alexander Korotkov will give a lecture on "Continuous Quantum Measurement of a Qubit." The conference covers rapidly developing areas such as Quantum Computing, SQUIDs and SQUIDarray circuits and systems, energy-efficient mixed signal circuits, digital and memory circuits, detectors, novel superconducting devices, and other new topical research results.
