International Workshop on  Emerging Circuits and Systems

***  IWECS’13 ***

International Workshop on Emerging Circuits and Systems in 2013 (IWECS’13) is the fifth-IWECS workshop event. It has been become a more recognized forum for sharing the latest technological advances for designing nanometer VLSI integrated circuits and systems.  IWECS13 will be held July 25-26, 2013 in Chengdu, Sichun Province, China.  University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) will be the local host for this workshop. Chengdu is famous for  Sichun food and its scenery nearby attractions. It is also the economical capital and fast growing city of southwest China.

IWECS workshop aims at providing a forum for researchers, practitioners, managers and graduate students from academia and industries to present the latest results and exchange ideas. IWECS focuses many emerging design techniques such as multiprocessor-based parallel computing techniques, 3D and multicore architectures, reconfigurable integrated circuits and systems, software-hardware co-designed systems, and emerging cyber-physical systems, as well as green technologies including renewable energy and smart grids. IWECS13 will invite leading researchers and company managers all over the world to share latest advances on emerging circuits and systems and their views and opinions for technological trends and impacts.

IWECS also features post-workshop social activities to encourage more open discussions, collaboration planning, and networking. The participants will have chance to visit the famous Panda Park in Chengdu on 26th (afternoon) and the well-known Ermei Mountain on 27th.

IWECS13 is also associated with the Cloud-Storage-Big Data Summit to be held in Shanghai in July 2013 and is the  sequential event of the Summit and Asian Non-Volatile Memory Workshop.
