Research Highlights

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree, under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Balandin in the field of fabrication and characterization of nanoscale materials and devices, at the Nano-Device Laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of California - Riverside (UCR) since Fall 2007.

From 2005-2007, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at UCR specializing in the high temperature¡ªultra high vacuum MBE growth of SiC-based graphene for applications.

Current research focuses includes thermal transport properties of nanostructured using laserflash method, Raman Spectroscopy characterization of different nano-materials, nanostructures and devices, e-beam particle irradiational effects to graphene and few-layer graphene, alternative sources of graphene fabrication using high pressure high temperature growth methods, thermal characterization of graphene, and electronic characterization of graphene-based electronic devices (e.g. transistors) for future beyond CMOS technology fabricated at .

Student Researcher of the FCRP Center on Functional Engineered Nano Architectonics (FENA) at UCLA and Interconnect Focus Center (IFC) at Georgia Tech under Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC).
