This tutorial will give a walkthrough in Windows XP on creating a drive mapping to your Electrical Engineering home directory. You must have already setup and connected to the Electrical Engineering VPN in order to map your home directory. 1) Go to "My Computer"  2) Go to "Tools" and click on "Map Network Drive..."  3) Select a free drive letter and type in "\\toaster.engr.ucr.edu\username", where username is your EE username. Click "Connect using a different username"  4) Type in your EE username and password. The username must be prefixed with "engr\" to specify the domain. Click OK.  5) Click finish. You should now see you network drive pop open.  |
