PhD candidate Alfredo A. Martinez-Morales has been awarded the Graduate Research Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded to students who have demonstrated a high degree of excellence in their research leading to their PhD dissertation. Alfredo is a third-year graduate researcher in the Biomedical Science and Nanotechnology Laboratory (BSNL), headed by Dr. Mihri Ozkan. His research focuses on the synthesis and transport studies of 1-dimensional nanostructures as well as the characterization of organic/inorganic hybrid systems for memory applications.
