Technically Sponsored by the IEEE

Scope

The MIMO Systems symposium will focus on multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communication technologies and related aspects. Original papers are solicited, describing state-of-the-art research and development covering, but not limited to, the following topics:

  • MIMO capacity, achievable rate, and diversity-multiplexing tradeoffs
  • MIMO coding and modulation, spatial multiplexing, and waveform design
  • MIMO-OFDM, space-frequency coding, and space-time-frequency coding
  • Distributed coding and joint source-channel coding
  • Turbo coding and decoding, iterative and cooperative decoding
  • Multiple access and multi-user MIMO
  • MIMO channel propagation, modeling, and characterization
  • MIMO broadcast, multiple access, and interference channels
  • Adaptive techniques for time-varying MIMO channels
  • Optimal and joint transceiver design for MIMO systems
  • MIMO with feedback, transmit beam-forming, and antenna selection
  • Channel impact on MIMO system design and system performance
  • MIMO scheduling, and joint physical-MAC layer design
  • Relay diversity, cooperative coding, and networking
  • MIMO applications

Submission Guidelines
